March 20th

I would have liked to be awake that morning when he arrived with a green dress among wheat fields. He was coming, whistling, like a child. His hands were full of birds and he was spreading them in the sky. Bees surrounded him. He wore a poppy hat and in his bag he brought me spring on the twentieth of March. I would have liked to be awake or have left the balconies open and in my dream sense how..., tiles and branches fill with nests and the dry stone gets wet again in the river and the sharp cry of a partridge.
And a look from the rabbit and smell the dawn that in his bag brought us spring on the twentieth of March. I would have liked to be awake. Lying on a stone like a lizard, belly in the sun and with a flute, and to have gone out to meet him as he deserves and decorate the doorways with paper flowers as if it were carnival time. But that morning I slept peacefully, because I didn't know that in his bag he brought me spring on the twentieth of March.
