El Falcó
Joan Manuel Serrat
The Falcon
The falcon with long wings, what a ruthless hunter!
As soon as he spots his prey, he dives down from the sky.
Spreading all his feathers like a farewell at the peak;
Claws and beak come together in the thrill of their crime.
He beats his wings, moves his claws, the tyrant of distant heights;
Any prey he encounters, no one else will find.
The falcon with long wings, what a ruthless hunter!
As soon as he spots his prey, he dives down from the sky.
