Anywhere
They left from there one gray spring morning. They were heading south with youth on their shoulders. With a dream on their backs and the memory of a doll. The old holm oaks saw them leave... Far or near, anywhere, following other footsteps. The road never ends when you reach the forest... Few have returned to the peaceful corner... Maybe tomorrow I will also go to another port. I will say goodbye to the people, the homeland, and the wind that have seen me grow. And I will close the drawer of my past without a complaint. And I will look for a home where the sun warms. I must go far from the holm oak... Far or near, anywhere, following other footsteps. The road never ends when you reach the forest... Few have returned to the peaceful corner... Maybe tomorrow I will also go to another port.
