A Paz
João Bosco
The Peace
The peace invaded my heart
Suddenly, it filled me with calm
Like the wind from a typhoon
Lifted my feet off the ground
Where I no longer bury myself
The peace turned revolution into a sea
Invading my fate; the peace
Like that great explosion
A bomb over Japan
Gave birth to Japan of peace
I thought of me
I thought of you
I cried for us
What a contradiction
Only war creates
Our love in peace
I came
I ended up at the edge of the dock
Where the road came to an end
Where the evening sky is lilac
Where the sea crashes within me
The lament of so many "ohs"
