They schemed, planned, articulated, designed
Just because Daniel had intimacy with the great
They observed, searched for something, some flaw
Some mistake, some vice
But they found nothing because Daniel serves a living God
And walked in sincerity with his God
Since they found nothing against Daniel
They invented a law to affect a faithful servant
That for 30 days no one could pray to any God
Except to the king
Because they knew Daniel liked to pray and with much malice
They convinced the king to sign
After it was decreed, no one could revoke
But he didn't care and continued praying
In danger and continued kneeling
Threatened but talking to God
Who has business with heaven would be bothering
Daniel prayed and bothered, made a difference and bothered
Because the believer who prays and makes a difference bothers
Bothers, bothers, bothers much more
Oh and when they threw Daniel into the den
They thought he would die torn apart by the lions
But the Bible says the king lost sleep
And in the early morning went to the den thinking the worst had happened
And with a sad voice the king said Daniel, servant of the living God
Your God whom you serve may have been able to deliver you from the lions
And to his surprise Daniel replied
King, my God sent the angel and closed, closed the lions' mouths
Because of your prayer the angel descended
Because of your prayer someone didn't die
Because of your prayer I entered the ICU
Because of your prayer the lion will sleep

I step over anyone who stands in my way
