A Glória Vem do Alto

The glory comes from above, the glory comes from above
The glory comes from God and is already approaching

It's already time for the glory to arrive here
For those on earth who live seeking
God is attentive and delights in giving
The party will be great when the glory arrives

In the book of Joel it is written
The glory here on earth God would pour out
And it was at Pentecost that this happened
The people were filled with the power of God

In the old testament this already happened
There in Jerusalem, in God's temple
When King Solomon raised his hands
Abundance of glory came that the people marveled

And this Pentecost God does not allow to stop
Until the day the church comes to take
We are not orphans of this movement
There is abundant glory for all the thirsty

The glory of this world is fame and money
But for many this has become a nightmare
So God is not pleased, heaven does not incline
The true glory is the one that comes from above
