O Poeta é Um Fingidor

The poet is a pretender
Pretends so completely
That he even pretends it's pain
The pain he truly feels

And those who read what he writes
Feel the pain they read well
Not their own that he had
But only the one they don't have

And so in the tracks of the wheel
It spins, entertaining reason
That train of rope
Called heart
