Profeta do Amor

In the heart of God, I found the source of love
Who loved me until the end
And gave himself for me
In the wounded heart, pierced by pain
I contemplated the source of life
That I proclaim with new ardor

Prophet, prophet of love
Bread of life, you are my good shepherd

In the heart of the world, I perceived the ingratitude
Of these people who do not see
Our God also has a heart
In the oppressed face, of my people in affliction
I contemplated the face of Christ
Who pleads for liberation

In the heart of the Church we share the same bread
Around the same table, a great family of brothers
Within our chest beats a new heart
That revives at every moment
This dream of liberation
