The nightclub keeps the night in a festive mood
From afar, you can hear several string and brass instruments
Bohemians drinking, singing, and dancing to the orchestra's sound
A strident sound that gave it the name of crystal sound
The nightclub, a notorious club, a place of ill repute
With its doors open during the night, anyone can enter
But on this night, unexpectedly, a lady entered
I was amazed because it was my wife
She got tired of sleeping alone waiting for me
And this night she decided to put an end to her long and cursed wait
She no longer wanted to lead the life of an honorable woman
If being a righteous woman as she was didn't actually help
She decided to abandon the role of a wife
To live among the moths that gather in that place
My life now much more wandering continues
I turned my wife into a woman of the street
