Silêncio de Deus
Jonatas Ribeiro
Silence of God
My parents told me that wise people don't talk much
That instead of fallacies, they prefer the eloquence of actions
Unrestrained fallacy is a virtue for fools
Acting in silence is the glory of a few
If the Lord has been silent, it may be the language of love
In a world that is so noisy, His silence may be the favor
I accept Your silence, Lord, and the secrecy of Your plans for me
I understand that instead of fallacies, as a wise one, You prefer to act
In silence
Even if the fig tree lacks fruit, the field's harvest fails
Even if drought ruins the harvest, frustrating my plans
Even if there's no answer to the cry
I rejoice in living the reasons of the Lord
If the Lord has been silent, it may be the language of love
In a world that is so noisy, His silence may be the favor
I accept Your silence, Lord, and the secrecy of Your plans for me
I understand that instead of fallacies, as a wise one, You prefer to act
If the Lord has been silent, it may be the language of love
In a world that is so noisy, His silence may be the favor
I accept Your silence, Lord, and the secrecy of Your plans for me
I understand that instead of fallacies, as a wise one, You prefer to act
In silence!
As a wise one, You prefer to act, in silence
