El Triángulo de Las Bermudas
Jorge Drexler
The Bermuda Triangle
You came back as if nothing
As if time wasn't
More than an uncertain chimera
A frayed net
You crossed in one stride
So many years of distance
In complete discordance
With everything established
Like a sunken ship returns
In strange circumstances
I made a place for you at my table
With a feigned calm
I held your gaze
Pretending composure
I became a prey
To the scent of your hair
Disguising the longing
Watching your mouth speak
All my compasses crazy
Changing my flight plan
And now that all the sadness
With time has dissipated
I wonder
Why did you disappear
Without the slightest warning
And even though everything has passed
Don't leave me with doubt
As if at some point
You had been swallowed
By the Bermuda Triangle
The Bermuda Triangle
