I’m heading to bed thinking of a poem to sing
And for it, a melody
A poem is born smiling, then I start to doze off
And wake up with an empty mind
What a bummer waking up
I had a poem to sing

It’s gone, vanished in dreams
Romantic and cheerful
It left, and I didn’t know
But on some random night
A poem will be born
And a beautiful melody

To later be the song that hits the heart
And makes my body vibrate
The guitar and tambourine are the pieces of me
That I now have to give to you
What a bummer waking up
