The last time I sang in that town
I did it in the middle of a cold snap
They criticized me rightly, I had messed up
An audience used to enjoying my singing

And that night I couldn't even hold onto the harp
The news spread among the people, like water
Among the puddles but the night before
I did well, no one gave me a hard time

Why is it that the bad always overshadows the good
And it's that from happiness we are one step away from misfortune
Like an incomprehensible stick, I recognized my mistake
But I don't think it's fair for the town to raise

The flag to bury my career that with effort and perseverance
