Ciego de Amor

Blind in Love
In the garden, where love resides,
only one rose captivated me.
There were thousands, more than a million,
but that rose, I wanted.
And I took her to my garden,
to care for her with love.
And without thinking, I gave her,
to that flower my heart.
I cultivated her with love, and so,
I gave her all my heart.
She was so beautiful that I believed,
blind in love, in that flower.
I gave her my soul, without foreseeing,
that she played with this love.
She hurt my heart,
with the thorns of pain.
She hurt my heart,
with the thorns of pain.
No matter how beautiful a flower is,
its thorn can cause you pain.
No matter how beautiful a flower is,
its thorn can cause you pain.
No matter how beautiful a flower is,
it leaves forever, a love wound.
