The Farewell
Do not fear if the end has come
life demands a step back, do not suffer
there are no more ties to hold us
the differences hurt us too much
the oath marked in fire we will have to forget
The night will seek forgiveness
silencing excuses without reason, do not cry
do not delay the farewell
let the distance make us forget
the feelings riding the wind will go in freedom
Understand that love ends,
that it's time for the farewell,
every step takes away life
and like the day, love dies,
if there's no tomorrow, today is the time to say goodbye
If time took away love,
and if doubt left us with absences,
there are no arguments for fears or conditions
that can change the mistakes
the disagreements make us shipwreck
We must not hurt each other
we both must accept without blame,
those dreams that we knew how to live in the sleepless nights have worn out
may the errors and bitterness sleep as we depart
