Las Diabluras
Jorge Velosa
The Devil's Antics
A devil fell into the water
And another devil pulled him out
And another devil passing by
Said: What the devil happened?
The little devil all tangled up said
What do I know?
Maybe it was the she-devil
My wife the she-devil
The she-devil who was listening
Shouted: It wasn't me!
I don't understand why the devil
Always blames me
The thing is, he's a devil
Partier and drunkard
Who doesn't stop in the winters
And not always around here
The thing is, he's a devil
Partier and drunkard
Who doesn't stop in the winters
And not always around here
The devil reached out his hand
The she-devil dodged it
She bit him
And he bit her neck
She stepped on his tail
And the devil felt pain
Letting out such a scream
That it was heard everywhere
The poor devil couldn't find
What to say or do
To get rid of
His wife the she-devil
So with all his might
He pushed her so hard
That the she-devil fell right there
Where the devil fell
So with all his might
He pushed her so hard
That the she-devil fell right there
Where the devil fell
The she-devil was in the water
And another devil pulled her out
And another devil passing by
Said: What the devil happened?
The little she-devil all tangled up said
It was the elder devil
Who, for stepping on his tail
Pushed me with a shove
And the devil who was listening
Right there replied
That's what you get for being foolish
You started it
They kept arguing
I never knew what it led to
Because I ran away
When the devil looked at me
They kept arguing
I never knew what it led to
Because I ran away
When the devil looked at me
