Closing my eyes
I can see Jesus on the Cross
His suffering is too much and it's even hard to imagine
That someone can endure such suffering
Nail in the hands, nail in the feet
Jesus is suffering
And knowing that all this is for me
I can't control myself, when I think about it I cry

I'm still there, standing
I look at his hands and remember
Hands that one day he stretched out to heal
Hands that one day he stretched out to save
Hands that one day he stretched out to bless
Hands that one day he stretched out to give life again
Now they are wounded, pierced, marked hands

Scars that prove He had to suffer
So that I could be free, free
