Minha Graça
Josafá Souza
My Grace
I was caught up to paradise, ineffable words I heard there
That it is not lawful for a man to utter
So I could boast
But I boast because I am so weak
And everything I saw is from the Lord
And to avoid exalting myself, due to the excellence of the revelations
A thorn in my flesh I received
A messenger of the enemy came to slap me
To avoid exalting myself
With my soul anguished, I resolved to pray to God
So that He would remove that thorn from my life
And three times I asked Him, and He answered me something
My son, my grace is sufficient for you!
While victory does not come, there is grace
While this battle does not end, there is grace
While the day does not come, and the night does not pass
My grace will be with you to renew you
Receive my grace, walk with it
Someone will ask you
How do you continue singing amidst all this
Receive my grace, do my will
If there is a thorn in your flesh
There will always be grace for you to survive
There is grace when you sing, when you pray, when you cry
When you implore God's presence
There is grace when you preach, when you teach
For in life you always feel God's grace
There is grace in entering, in leaving, in acting
And even in your conduct
If the thorn continues in your flesh
Be thankful because there is grace for you to survive
Grace, grace, to me the grace of God Jesus is enough
Grace, grace, I found grace in Jesus
