Oh God! Just as Hannah wanted to go to the temple every year to worship
Just like the prophet Habakkuk who worshiped amidst adversities
Just like Abraham who by faith climbed
The mountain top to offer his sacrifice
Like King David who described Your greatness
In such beautiful Psalms, like the patriarch Job who even in pain
In suffering remained faithful!
Create in us a pure heart and a right spirit!
Hearts of true worshipers, who surrender
Completely and humble themselves at Your feet!
With my life I want to worship You
My family I want to surrender to You
I know I may suffer, I know I may cry
But what I have, Father, I place on Your altar
Now I raise my hands and open my heart
To worship You, for holy are You, Lord
It doesn't matter what they will think of me
