La Calle En Que Tu Vivias
José Augusto
The Street Where You Lived
Yesterday, I passed the street where you lived
Thinking about everything, I didn't see that I was crying for you
The drops of my longing tears dripped on the bench
That once saw a great love born and now is lonely
The silent little birds showed the sadness I felt
I must have made a big impression on those who knew me.
I wish I knew how you are,
To know if you're next to another love
If you no longer remember what happened between us
Is it that now you are happy
And have a love better than me
You don't know how much I want to hear
Your sweet voice.
I am living on memories
Of the happy time that has passed
And to avoid crying, I won't cross that street.
