In diesen heil'gen Halle

In these holy halls,
Vengeance is unknown here. --
And if a man has fallen;
Love leads him to duty.
Then he walks hand in hand with friends
Joyful and happy into the better land.
In these sacred walls,
Where man loves man,
No traitor can lurk,
Because forgiveness is given to the enemy.
Those who are not pleased by such teachings,
