Water Carrier
Water carrier and harvest,
little boy calming down,
put the pedal to the mill
because the water ran out.
As a step for a bag
from that previous unload,
so the guys can find it
when the truck shows up.
Give a good soak
to the lining of the jug,
so the water stays fresh,
it's getting hot,
put a little effort
and wait for me in the corner.
There goes the water carrier
with his tiredness and eagerness,
he wants to earn some money
because he needs to help at home.
From his hairy sandal
the blister has already appeared.
The straw eats the pea
and the child swallows the pain.
Put a little effort,
it's not time to think,
if the thorn stings and hurts,
at night you'll take it out.
Tie up your pants
you won't catch up to him.
