Swinging

If once I asked for permission...
if once I asked for permission this time I won't ask for anything
tired of jumping rope I've become somewhat elusive
I don't know if it will be necessary to explain my situation
I don't know if it will be a matter of sharpening the speech
but I know that whoever listens to me will pay attention.
Anyone who has ever
listened to me with feeling
knows well that I don't lie and that I don't back down
no one has seen me as a judge because I lack authority
but I can't keep quiet about what no one should
the face I have is mine and it was made for me to speak
Wretched is the one who stays silent
poor is the silent one
what a painful punishment when shame fails
whoever has courage should show it and tell me it's not true
that the living dead clinging to their trembling
always waits for it to dry out to go add to the orchard
Whoever has a better reason should vomit disillusionment
I didn't live collecting years to become a stubborn donkey
God has given me a heart and out of respect for the gift
with tooth stick or nail I will defend its position
I know I have enough guts to stuff more than one villain
I'm a friend to whoever wants but don't push me
whoever likes can choose me and whoever doesn't can leave me out
I wasn't born to be a ridgepole because I like to be a boss
and since I am the boss of my own will
I want to be where I need to be vomiting my opinion
I only ask God
as a final favor
to let me with my pain to be able to raise my voice
I who have been a tamer, a foot pioneer and even a hewer
best rancher and even hitched to the plow
all I have left is the toasted bread and the singing message
All for not calming down
neither the word nor the gesture
because I never found an excuse for them to like me
because I didn't know how to keep quiet what I shouldn't
because my life was a driver for the onslaught
today I only have the smile and this cold sadness
Because I didn't give freedom to fatten up the candidate
because I was never cheap and my face wasn't bought
because I wasn't a coward hiding in the reeds
because faced with good or evil I always showed my face
today I have a clear idea but my poncho is big
That's why I don't have a dog to bark at my bones
because I never kept track neither of tin nor of iron
I'm right and I don't miss when I say that the right
starts where the chest begins and ends in the pocket
he who always faces the uphill climb has no underwear
The herd that is slow is not the same
as the one made in a hurry
the slow one is the safest the other smells like a pig
when I say this I bite myself because I always chose the slowest
and I stayed with the story of migran philosophy
the things I believed in have been carried away by the wind
Today I think about humanity
just like yesterday and tomorrow
it's dying with the desire to reach the truth
I know it's not a coincidence that man lives embittered
swallowing a tripe product of his innocence
some call it patience and I call it wasted time
With respect to reason, sometimes I know I hit the mark
touching the sky as a dead man is no solution
I know more than one man who falls asleep among palms
made with the poor souls of the living dead
they are usually the most rotten waters that are the calmest
A heart that is in pain can end up lost
like the turkey that tips over when it's too full
it carries the same sentence the nail and the wood
one swells outward and the other loses its shine
and the one who enjoys is the hammer when it plants and strikes
Something I learned as an old man
before becoming one
one to look and see, others from my own mirror
things that are not advice not even a comment
just like a rosary that no one prays
but it clouds their head with their crosses and calvary
Although I have lived by leaps and bounds I have not lived startled
to the things I have gone through I neither exceed nor lack
I never wanted to fly high I always flew to the lost
so I contemplated the nuance of life and its stubbornness
the things I didn't know I learned from the root
Flying high is greatness
for those who go as hawks
but man must be clever not to cloud his head
I clung to the richness of walking close to the ground
a calmness neither a flight nor tires nor harms
the earth is big or small according to the desires
And here I am no more no less with what God offered me
man has always lived between the bad and the good
some chew the bit others live snorting
others by giving in end up in bologna
and I am a school donkey and I spend my time kicking
But I remain
just a poor Creole
and if I was once a bud now I'm aging inside
the years show themselves without a scarecrow to scare them
they always move forward and no matter how much man advances
there is no calendar that reaches, no Christian that can stand it
However and despite so much power together
I have stayed with a point that they won't be able to take from me
they have helped me to think to observe and to question myself
who could have changed me who could have twisted me
aware of my duty nothing can scare me
I don't like to hear excuses
because I'm not a confessor
I'm just a teller without a beat or a half-beat
I live pulling out lint from the corner of oblivion
if I suffer for being a sufferer dreamer of justice
I fight for the delight of not living subjugated
