Cuando El Alma No Da Más
José Larralde
When the Soul Can't Take It Anymore
The day I die, the time I had
will stay watching that no one steals my voice
no one can use what belongs to others without God's permission,
the mind puts forth the idea but the heart commands.
Everyone who occupies a space in it will perpetuate,
neither memory nor oblivion can take their place.
Perhaps they fall into a vast abyss of loneliness
but there's no sorrow that lasts longer than it should.
In times of solitude is when the soul can't take it anymore
the tiniest step can help push forward
only the wind pushes the wind
and any direction is the same
some live it by imitating,
but some know where it goes.
