Domingo de Agua
José Larralde
Sunday of Water
Let's get close to the little fire
Two or three more twigs
As long as the rain doesn't stop
Why would I bother
Listen to the Sunday of water
Good Sunday for a monthly
Without a horse for the path
Nor a woman to visit
Say that I'm more or less
Good for roaming
And saddle up the bitter mate
The afternoon goes by at a trot
People are enjoying their Sunday
Laborer, caretaker, and foreman
And I stayed with the dogs
Whistling so as not to think
If it clears up and the afternoon opens
Maybe I'll go out for a walk
Maybe I'll saddle up and leave
Half aimlessly around there
After all, wherever you go
The sad one never finds peace
So it's better to rain
I like to hear the rain
