The Blind Man of Gold

There goes the blind man of gold Through the shadow
That under the full sun is born from the mind

He walks through the stanza Of a tomorrow
Sung in the silence Of the absent

And suddenly stops at everything
And from his denial he takes what he loves
He is the man of zinc that covers the sky
so that no one sees the stars
but lets the lightning pass
and the rain and the cold of winter

And in the white sin of a notebook
He numbers due dates and disputes

He is legal He steals the existence
of his own money every day
When he leaves his conscience in the bank
And yesterday's box is left empty

If he could keep, he would keep,
what he had to give for his experience,
what a sweet experience the experience
of breaking the piggy bank of the one in front

He is the blind man of gold who smiles
With the big illuminated smile
With the light of the metal
And he believes it's true that he
Who has nothing is worth nothing
If he knew about values That life lent him
Life sweats the smell of death

When a friend dies He despairs
It can't be that he should die
Half a kilo more of life if only
He could buy to not go bankrupt
What will they give for not laughing
When to the cedar and bronze when he dies

There goes the blind man of gold Through the shadow
That under the full sun is born from the mind

He walks through the stanza Of a tomorrow
Sung in the silence Of the absent

And suddenly stops at everything
And from his denial he takes what he loves
