Sacudiendo Ramas

I've spent my life shaking branches,
rotten ones fall, the good ones stay
man and fruit have their similarities
but man bites while the fruit stays quiet.
They digest the belly and the shapes change
from round to flat and from flat to sap.

And the fruit returns to its old form
waiting for the man to come and eat it.

And the man comes back and shakes branches
and down fall the rotten ones, the good ones remain.

And you gotta raise your arms to grab it
while the others fall and get squished.

A short difference with the human race
