Un Velero Llamado Libertad
José Luis Perales
A Sailboat Called Freedom
Yesterday he left, took his things and set sail
A shirt, jeans, and a song
Where will he go, where will he go
He said goodbye, and decided to duel with the sea
And travel the world in his sailboat
And sail, nai-na-na, sail
And he left
And he called his boat freedom
And in the sky he discovered seagulls
And painted, trails in the sea
And he left
And he called his boat freedom
And in the sky he discovered seagulls
And painted, trails in the sea
His heart sought a different way of living
But the waves shouted at him: Go away
With the others, nai-na-na, with the others
And he fell asleep
And the night shouted at him: Where are you going?
And in his dreams he drew seagulls
And thought, today I must return
And he returned
And a voice asked him: How are you?
And upon looking, he discovered
Eyes, nai-na-na, as blue as the sea
And he returned
And a voice asked him: How are you?
And upon looking, he discovered
Eyes, nai-na-na, as blue as the sea
And he left
And he called his boat freedom
And in the sky he discovered seagulls
And painted, trails in the sea
