Old Nag
One day I went out alone to round up cattle on my old nag
He left neighing as if he knew he wouldn't return to his stable
My old nag was a horse that was well trained and very gentle
When I was too lazy to fetch the cattle, my old nag would bring them on his own
I galloped down the road and my old nag was chomping on the bit
I set out with the aim of going to the pasture just to see my cattle and salt the herd
After salting them, I saw a fierce bull and a fierce bull is always brave
I separated him from the herd and unleashed my lasso, tightened the reins just to see the commotion
I roped this bull by the edge of a bush and even animals feel this sad story
My old nag got lost in a ditch and I opened my leg to get ahead
And this bull, when he saw me, lowered his head and made a move
I got out of the way, he passed by me, I looked back and laughed
And in this round, my trusty steed lay on the red earth
But I threw my twelve yards and the ring tinkled, I grabbed the two horns and defended my ears
And when I tightened the lasso on this bull, he turned tail and didn't even head for the bushes
And my old nag, who broke his neck and died groaning, looking at the bull
