Jilgueros
Joselito
Goldfinches
Grief is carried away by the wind
He will see, don't cry anymore.
your dear flew away
and will never come back
This is how a child sang to him
the boy who found it
he thought of his good mother
and in a couplet his love wrought
I want to die next to you
I swear to you my mother
I always want to be with you
in your tears and your joy
It was his promise song
and a goldfinch that crossed
gave its trills to the wind
and in the wind it was lost
Crying mother waits
that the son grew up and left
flying through other lands
he never wants to come back
And the young man the passage of time
goldfinch on the high seas
thinking about the beautiful mother
he returned home he sang again
