I believe in a Lord so powerful
Who has power to do anything
He lifts up the tired and downcast

Great miracles that he performed here
I believe that He is still the same
He is powerful, for Jesus never changed

He restored Lazarus to life
In the face of death, he showed his power
He restored Bartimaeus' sight
And in an instant Bartimaeus could see
He fed women and children
And made hungry men satisfied
He walked on the stormy sea
And healed ten lepers all at once

The demon-possessed man of Gadara, before Christ a poor man
Prostrated, tormented by many demons, but
Jesus Christ with power cast them out, and when he was arrested
In the garden, still his power manifested
He rebuked Peter firmly, and restored the soldier's ear

He raised the widow's son
Also healed the centurion's servant
He turned water into wine
And gave his forgiveness to the sinner
To the blind, deaf, mute, and paralyzed
With his kindness and power he healed them
In me, he performed the greatest miracle
Was when one day he saved my soul
