Silencis
Josep Thió
Silences
Three or four drops betraying night rain
The sun filters through the window
I watch how you rest naked from the feet of the bed
With a gaze full of tenderness
Oh, how many nights I've caressed your delicate fingers
Oh, how many mornings, like the one I have now
Warm like a piece of clothing
Hidden from so many people talking
We weave certainties with our gaze
We are so far from that wild uproar
That we understand each other without words
Two or three stray hairs paint the cushions
With the color of this afternoon
I feel you walk by the sweet sound of your dress, which betrays you between your thighs
Oh, how many mornings intertwining like stone
Oh, how many nights like the one I have now
Warm like candlelight
Hidden from so many strange voices
With silences, we fill landscapes
Beyond this harsh uproar
That we understand each other without words
Hidden from so many people talking
We weave certainties with our gaze
We are so far from that wild uproar
That we understand each other without words
That we understand each other without words
Three or four drops betraying night rain
