I opened my Bible to John 20
And I came across Mary Magdalene
Crying at the King's tomb
She lifts Her head
Wiping Her tears, Her eyes She opened
And where was the Master's body?
Two angels Mary saw

And they asked her: Mary, why are you weeping?
Then Mary answered him
Here was the body of Master Jesus
But His body disappeared, disappeared

So, Maria walks back, I believe, already ready to leave
That's when Yeshua appears and asks her: Mary, why are you crying?
Mary, why do you seek Me? Mary, do Me a favor
Don't look for Me among the dead, because I am alive

Go there and tell your brothers
To start smiling
Tell them it's not over
But I have overcome death

So, Maria, without wasting time, went
Towards the disciples She ran
And he said to them: Everybody sit here
Because I'm going to tell you everything that happened

The earth shook, the tomb opened
And nothing will overcome His great love
Oh, death, where are you? The King is risen
He won forever

Forever, exalted is
Forever, adored is
Forever He lives
He is risen, he is risen

Because He lives, I can believe in tomorrow
