I opened my Bible to John 20
And I came across
With Mary Magdalene
Crying at the King's tomb

She raises her head
Wiping away her tears, her eyes she opened
And where was the Master's body?
Two angels Mary saw

And they asked her: Mary, why are you weeping?
Then Mary answered him
Here was the body of Master Jesus
But His body disappeared
It disappeared

So Maria walks backwards
I think I'm ready to leave now
That's when Yeshua appears
And he asks her: Mary, why are you crying?

Mary, why are you looking for me?
Maria, do me a favor
Don't look for me among the dead
Because I am alive (He is alive!)

Go there and tell your brothers
To start smiling
Tell them it's not over
But I have conquered death (He is alive, and he is here!)

So Maria, without wasting any time, went
Towards the disciples she ran
And he said to them: Everyone sit here
Because I'm going to tell you everything that happened

It's just that the earth shook
Tomb opened
And nothing will overcome His great love
O death, where are you?
The King is risen
He won forever

Forever adored is
Forever He lives
