Ayúdame a Creer

Once again it happens
The winds of yesterday blow against my boat
And they are stronger each time
The hope of living
Fades and I feel like giving up
I almost give up

The contrary winds don't let me see
The noise of the sea is so loud that
Every time I try to believe
My mind fails me and so does my heart
In my despair I didn't know what to do
Surrendering to the wind is what I thought
Then I see someone walking in the storm and remains standing

He entered the boat, calmed the sea
He said don't be afraid, I am your captain
The winds obey when I speak
Now there is peace instead of storm
I look to the sky, there is no darkness
My boat started to sail
I understood that Jesus was my captain
He didn't let me die at sea

Increase my faith, to believe
That even if the winds blow I will arrive
This storm will not stop me
Because I have Jesus as captain
I see the opposite, I will be strong
My boat is sinking but there he is
You have never left me, you have not abandoned me
But help me to believe
