Better Days Will Come
Early in the morning I wake up, get up and get ready to go out
The light outside is weak, the wind blows strong and brings the cold
The rain is already falling and the storm has begun
But still, I go out and get wet because the sun is coming
In the darkness is where I see the stars
Looking up I find the light
But if I'm afraid I move forward
Because Christ promises: Better days will come
If I open my eyes and no longer recognize where I am
If I keep walking in circles and never get anywhere
I find myself fallen, then I kneel before the Lord
Then I rise and move on, I have Christ with me
In the darkness is where I see the stars
Looking up I find the light

If I have a good day, maybe a bad day
I need to be grateful to Jesus
If I have to choose, I choose to smile and be happy
