Se Vale Soñar
Juan Cirerol
Dreaming is Allowed
I wish that when it rains
Instead of water, it rained cocaine
And that beer flowed
Tequila through seas and rivers.
That in the gardens there were
Instead of flowers, carnations or lilies
Little marijuana plants, cocaine and opium,
How beautiful!
The cartels didn't exist
Much less the mafiosos
Mother Nature
Would take care of us
To keep us very happy
All drunk and crazy.
It would be awesome
If the damn government didn't exist
We would live more comfortably
Without thieves.
It would also be great
To have the seven lives of a cat
To shoot it out
With the cops and soldiers.
But God doesn't grant whims
Or straighten the hunchbacked
I can only be content
With everything He has given me.
Dreaming is allowed, buddy
I don't think that's a sin.
