The great solution is socialism
A new invention for foolish people
Old tricks used by communism

An almost irresistible offer
They talk about a more decent future
They say the past was terrible
And they will do everything differently

And I see the youth buying into the idea
Their slogan: Long live Che Guevara
Infected by the rhetoric
And the ideology that impales them

And I see the elderly supporting the cause
Those who have always been left-wing
It seems like they put their brains on pause
While filling them with revolution and crap

Meanwhile, I'm still here
Fighting until defeating
The damn ideology that stole my freedom
I know I will soon see
Faces of happiness
In Nicaragua, Venezuela
Cuba and many others
Far from the darkness

They recruit resentful slackers
Who have achieved nothing in life
And blame those who have money and work
For what has happened to them

They sell an egalitarian system
Taking them out of poverty is the promise
But it's not to make them millionaires
It's to equalize us in poverty

And you see the millionaire leaders
Buying mansions in luxurious places
Now they don't seem so revolutionary
As they turned out to be very ambitious

And those young people who have grown up
Today are poorer than they once were
And if they complain, they will be repressed
By the system they chose
