Resistiré
Juanon Lucero
I Will Resist
When I lose every game
When I sleep with loneliness
When all the exits close in on me
And the night won't let me be
When I feel scared of the silence
When it’s hard to stay on my feet
When memories rise up against me
And push me up against the wall
I will resist, standing tall against it all
I’ll turn to iron to toughen my skin
And even when life’s winds blow hard
I’m like the reed that bends
But always stays on its feet
I will resist to keep on living
I’ll take the hits and never give in
And even when my dreams shatter to pieces
I will resist, I will resist
When the world loses all its magic
When my enemy is myself
When nostalgia stabs me in the back
And I don’t even recognize my voice
When madness threatens to take me
When my coin lands on tails
When the devil comes to collect
Or if you ever go away
I will resist, standing tall against it all
I’ll turn to iron to toughen my skin
And even when life’s winds blow hard
I’m like the reed that bends
But always stays on its feet
I will resist, to keep on living
I’ll take the hits and never give in
And even when my dreams shatter to pieces
I will resist, I will resist
