Why do you move away from my presence
Trying to hide from me with your face in your hands
If it was I who died on a cross to give you freedom
And I removed the blindness from your sight with my blood?

I opened the path of life that was closed
I brought down the stone walls that divided us
I removed the shackles that were permanent prisons
I took off the strongest chain from your feet
And you do not accept Me in your heart

Why do you tell others that you do not know Me
And sometimes pray to gods in vain?
When pain comes to assail your whole body
You will see then that only in Me you will find a solution

The land you walk on and the water that quenches your thirst
The air you breathe constantly to survive
Clearly show everyone that I still love you
And I have never forgotten a moment to look at you
