The Martyrs
In a decisive moment Jesus will appear
To gather a people tired of suffering
Many were accused, imprisoned even without deserving
Yet they did not deny the name
Of Jesus, son of man, not even at the hour of death
What a pleasant surprise it will be for the saved
For they will meet the martyrs
They couldn't see here
John the Baptist and James, also the servant Simon
Paul and Silas come smiling
Perhaps singing the hymn
They sang in prison
And those wrongdoers
Will feel the same pains and will never be forgiven
And on the day of the event, a voice will be heard saying
I was your advocate but now I am the judge
I taught all truth, made the signs clear
Today he comes repentant but is a stranger
In the presence of my Father
So that all I have said does not happen
And you are not a stranger in the presence of my King
Come now, do not delay, you will receive forgiveness
And do not enter into judgment
