Viuvá de Naim
Junior (Gospel)
Widow of Nain
So many tears filled her eyes
Only sadness remained in her heart
And not knowing what to do
Watching her dreams fall apart
Leaving without a word
Adding to her pain
The hurt from before she contemplated
Seeing her son carried away by death
Also, her hope in life was gone
Her husband now
Her son taken from her life
The town of Nain stood still
Witnessing such suffering
Someone having to face
But in the middle of the road, the procession saw
Jesus approaching the place
And locking eyes with that woman
Only pain and suffering he found
The Pharisees looked on without faith
But Jesus drew near to the coffin
And with power and authority
He commanded, and the dead man rose
He touched, Jesus touched the coffin
In that instant, he stood up
The son of the widow of Nain
He rose again
He rose again
