Mit 66 Jahren
Udo Jürgens
At 66 Years Old
You will be surprised when I am retired! As soon as the stress is over, I'll just lie down, oh-ho, oh-ho, oh-ho.
I'll blow-dry my hair very casually, the hair that I still have. I'll suck in my stomach and act like a 'hot guy', oh-ho, oh-ho, oh-ho.
And if people look at me with disapproval and severity; then I'll say: 'My dears, you're taking this too seriously!'
At 66 years old, that's when life begins! At 66 years old, that's when you have fun. At 66 years old, that's when you really get going! At 66, it's far from over!
I'll buy myself a motorcycle and a leather suit and zoom around with 110 horsepower, oh-ho, oh-ho, oh-ho.
I'll sing songs in the city park that will amaze everyone. And play the guitar with a crazy sound, oh-ho, oh-ho, oh-ho.
And with the other buddies from the retirees' club, I'll start a band and we'll jazz incredibly.
REFRAIN
And in the evenings, I'll go out with Grandma, because we're going to rock, to a discotheque, oh-ho, oh-ho, oh-ho.
In the summer, I'll tie flowers around my pensive forehead and hitchhike to San Francisco to cure my rheumatism, oh-ho, oh-ho, oh-ho.
And with pride, my grandson Waldemar announces: 'The crazy old man, that's my grandpa!'
