Resina, agua y ajo
Manolo Kabezabolo
Resin, Water, and Garlic
Been sitting here for a couple of hours
Laid out on this sidewalk, looking at the streetlights
And above them, I see chimneys growing
That are contaminating everything around
In a garden, a boy and a girl
Play at being grown-ups with syringes
Here it's easier to shoot up four hits
Than to make some sandwiches with ham and cheese
The police cordon off the area
Tonight there's a raid to seize the drugs
A dealer has been arrested
For carrying a gram and a half of spice in his pocket
Poor Carlos is taken away
For less than two grams that the bag weighed
And to top it off, they close down the bar
Take off your uniform, YOU'LL SEE HOW I GET YOU
The big shots snort cocaine
Because that's what their office hours demand
And then, on top of that, they have young girls
To satisfy their lowest and most selfish instincts
Here the laws are tailored
To those with the most money, to those at the top
And yet, if you're with the underdogs
They throw you in jail: resin, water, and garlic
Resin, water, and garlic
Resin, water, and garlic
