Adolescence

A promise to dance together forever
The swelling chest lies
Reflecting the sweet-colored hair in the mirror
Going back and forth, following each other
On the same bed we swayed
The thread that connected our touching hands

Unknown faces reflected
Whispering voices softly
Gripping the hammer and striking
Shattering glass
The poem we wrote together
Reconsidering the record of sins
Towards the creaking bones of the knight and princess
The bell tolls the end

The distorted mirror, hands and hands not matching, fingers misaligned
From now on, we'll sleep in different beds
You whisper 'goodnight'
Opening the door with a bang
Raising wings to the sound
Kissing the extended fingers
The impulse to run, the spine escaping in an instant

Don't turn off the light
The nights I sleep alone
Still hating it, I hit the pillow with my right hand
'Ghosts are scary,' you're such a child, my princess
Different words in wet eyes
Staring as if wanting to say something
Will the time unknown to mom and dad end?
Distant dreams
The heat reaching my waist through the thin towel
Breaking my glasses

Suppressing the voice
Locking the door
Eyes meeting each other
Searching for answers
Erasing the childish excuses along with the light
If I can't save your hair
I'll tell lies

Stopping time now
Embracing each other
Wanting to synchronize each heartbeat
The melting warm breath
In the warmth I held onto
