APOCALIPSIS

When the last trumpet you hear sound
Announcing the return of the son of God
The law of gravity will not prevent
Those who are saved from going up to heaven

Somewhere in the entire universe
We will meet in a body of glory
With one voice the church will say
Death was defeated by victory

And the church will shout loudly
Where, oh death, is your sting?
Where, oh grave, is your victory?

While the church receives a reward there
On earth the great tribulation will begin
Chain reactions like a net
Turning the population into prey
The earth's mass overheated

Causing earthquakes and igniting volcanoes
Tectonic plates in motion
Causing tsunamis and destruction

Nuclear bombs made of plutonium
Will destroy the ozone layer
Exposing the planet to the Sun's rays
Vulnerable like a fish on the hook

The earth that sings today will be sadder
It will groan and cry
