Let the show begin:

[Why?]
(Just in case he messes things up.)
[The dog won't do anything!]
(He ruins the beautiful song!)
[No way, he’s completely quiet.]

It was a Sunday, bright and clear,
A truly wonderful Sunday here.
That Sunday was so uniquely fine,
I’ve rarely seen a day so divine.

{woof woof! woof woof!}
[Calm down, calm down!]

It really gets to me,
(The damn dog!)
[Shh!]
When you see a Sunday like this,
[Now be quiet!]
{woof woof! woof woof!}
(Get that mutt out!)
[Bob, be reasonable now.]
But it didn’t last too long,
Because soon the evening came along.
It got pitch dark all around me,
And I couldn’t see Sunday anymore.

(Yeah, get him out, I’ve had enough, that mutt shouldn’t be in here!)
[I understand... I don’t even know that dog anymore, Bob is so well-behaved.]
(That’s just terrible!)

On the electric streetcar,
There’s often a trailer hanging on.
{woof woof} [Yeah, but that’s not how it works...] (That’s just... that’s just...)
[But he definitely wanted to... be quiet!]
The trailer that hangs on there,
(The damn dog!) [But he sings so beautifully!]
Is called a trailer then.
{woof woof woof woof!} [What’s wrong with him?]

He only hangs on now and then,
To the electric streetcar.
{woof} [Ah, ah, ah, now it must...???] (That’s just awful!) [You can’t expect that from ??? anymore!]
But if he’s not hanging on,
Which can happen quite often,
Then it can’t be any other way,
Then the front car goes alone.

(Yeah, then get him out...)

Now it’s just incomprehensible babble.
Maybe someone can help me and explain those parts I didn’t understand correctly. I’d appreciate messages and DMs.
