To console you, I want to carry this life into darkness in solitude!
Your beauty so hidden there you reveal me... there you invite me
From better bush to better vision.
Adorable face, you are my homeland, my sovereign kingdom of love,
Laughing garden of mystical flowers, charming sun of my days,
Lily of the valleys, lovely lily, I love the perfumes you give me.
In this long martyrdom of life, I aspire to their heavenly peace.
Silvery lyre of seven strings, the years will pulse with you!
I will throw you in a bouquet, chosen myrrh!... like a seal,
I will engrave you in my heart!...
Of rich jewels, richest treasure chest, I only want you and your cross!
In you I hide, in you I abyss to imitate you, Jesus! Jesus!
