From your bright pure flames, Holy Spirit
Deign to inflame my soul
Consume it in divine love
Oh you, whom I invoke every day
Holy Spirit of God, bright light
You, who fill me with your favors
You, who flood me with your sweetness
Burn me, annihilate me completely

You who give me my vocation
Oh, lead me to that intimate, inner union, to that life
All in God, which is my longing

When my hope is founded only in Jesus
And when living in the midst of the world
I aspire to nothing, and only see Him, Him
My love, my divine friend

Holy Spirit, supreme beauty
To You I adore and love
Consume in your divine flames
This body and this heart and this soul
This spouse of the Trinity who only aspires to His will
