De Escravo a Governador
Kimberly Fraiber
From Slave to Governor
It was a dream, it was a dream of a boy at a young age
His brothers were envious and false
And they wanted Joseph to be banished once and for all
But the Lord who guarantees his promises and protects his own
Entered that well and took care of Joseph
And wrote this story
From the well to Egypt as a slave he went
From slave to prisoner he became later
In that dungeon he prayed to God
Knowing that the Lord never forgot him
The story of those who dream doesn't end like this
God changes captivity, the trial has an end
God takes action and fulfills what He said
From slave and prisoner he is now a governor
From the well to Egypt as a slave he went
From slave to prisoner he became later
In that dungeon he prayed to God
Knowing that the Lord never forgot him
The story of those who dream doesn't end like this
God changes captivity, the trial has an end
God takes action and fulfills what He said
From slave and prisoner he is now a governor
But he forgave, he forgave his brothers
And said: All the evil they did to me there
It was God who caused it to bring me here
To bless, to bless, my parents
My brothers, my house, I want to bless
The story of those who dream doesn't end like this
God changes captivity, the trial has an end
God takes action and fulfills what He said
From slave and prisoner he is now a governor
