Ten Little Bats
Ten little bats
flew around the barn.
One got dizzy,
then there were nine.
Nine little bats
fluttered through the night.
One flew to Dracula,
then there were eight.
Eight little bats
wanted to go bowling.
One overslept completely,
then there were seven.
Seven little bats
annoyed the witch.
The witch grabbed one,
then there were six.
Six little bats
flew into the swamp.
One was scared of it,
then there were five.
Five little bats
played the piano.
One got sick from it,
then there were four.
Four little bats
cooked beetle mush.
But one preferred raspberry ice cream,
then there were three.
Three little bats
fought each other, oh my.
The police came running,
then there were two.
Two little bats
both were named Heinz.
One had to go to the army,
then there was only one.
One little bat,
danced wildly.
Then the other nine joined in
and danced around.
And so that none get lost,
before going home,
they counted again,
then there were ten again.
